    Mild+ Tom yum soup to go order came pretty spicy,  temperature hot, it still has good flavor though the spice heat stands out.  I think I'll order with less spice next time (maybe I got someone else's? ).  My spring rolls we're excellent.

    I went in a little before noon and was glad I ordered to go as they had filled all their tables.

    This restaurant charges a premium for use of a Visa or MasterCard debit card. Please know that this a violation of the merchant member agreement. I politely mentioned this to them, while agreeing to pay the fee. They were horribly rude. They then offered to give me my payment back and didn't, but didn't provide any food.

    Visa and MasterCard merchant agreements prevent this sort of conduct and treatment of customers when using debit cards.

    I encourage you to be a polite but thoughtful consumer and not accept this treatment from vendors.

    The data is clear - while merchants PT a fee for accepting a debit card, they also sell more and servers receive larger tips. They also receive protections on transactions that weren't available when they accepted checks.

    There is no reason for them to treat you this way - and there is a reason why signs like this are homemade. It's not allowed.

    Had a very very bad experience at this restaurant
    two days in a row. The first day I ordered lunch
    while I was on break at work. I still had to wait
    30 minutes for a  carry out order of soup.
    And I called ahead of time.  Not cool !!!!!!!!
    The second day  I thought to give them another chance  and call the order in early before lunch
    and  was told that it would be ready in 15 mins.
    Lol it was not ready . I still had to wait  another 20
    mins.    After this I told them to  keep the money and the soup
    I WOULD NOT BE BACK!!!!!!!!!!

    I started going to Mai Garlic 5-6 years ago and it was amazing. But over the last couple years and specifically the last several months it has been hit and miss. Today it was just terrible! My curried Paid Thai lacked sauce, flavor, spice and somehow tasted more like peanuts and bean sprouts than anything else. I live right by them and have supported them for years, but I'm done.

    I eat Thai food once a week so when I get a bad dish, I know it. Haven't been here for over a year and won't go back again. Ordered #28, a noodle and vegetable dish which had rubber noodles, old tasting vegetables and not a ounce of flavor. Ordered it hot so it should have some flavor, but not. If this is what they serve customers they should go out of business.
